Jordyn Garmon, Volleyball

Sophomore student-athlete Jordyn Garmon plays DS/Libero on the Snead State volleyball team. She is majoring in business and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and the National Society of Leadership and Success. Jordyn was named to the NJCAA All-Academic First Team for her 4.0 GPA her freshmen year.

She is the daughter of Chris and Lori Garmon. She graduated from Guntersville High School in 2017 where she was a member of the All-Marshall County Tournament Team. She played volleyball and basketball and was a member of FCA, Spanish Club, SGA, NHS Interact Club and ODK. She graduated fourth in her class and was a Marshal.

What are your athletic goals?

"I want to be the best DS I can be. I want to have a successful season."

Who has been your biggest influence on you as an athlete and why?

"Jimmy Latta was my high school volleyball coach. He has helped me to get where I am today."
