Preceding the high school and college volleyball season, the Snead State volleyball staff and players will conduct camps and play dates in July to enhance hte skills of area volleyball players.A valid physical and waiver is required for each player at each event.
July 22 - Varsity Play Date
The Play Date is team oriented. High school teams, along with their coach, will play and compete in mini timed volleyball matches with other teams. It will start at 9 a.m. and end by 5 p.m. Teams have the option to eat in the cafeteria for $6 per player. The cost is $100 per team.
July 23-24 - Individual Camp
The Individual Camp is skill specific for each attendant. Technique and repetition of skills will be taught and performed over two days. Each day of the Individual Camp will start at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. Players often eat in our cafeteria on campus for $6. Camp t-shirts will be provided. The camp is open to ages 8-18 years old and is $50 per player.
July 29 - Prospect Camp
The Prospect Camp will be more for advanced skilled players fine tuning their mechanics to prepare for high school and college competition. The Prospect Camp will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. Players will be offered the choice of eating on campus for $6 or lunch on their own. Camp t-shirts will be provided. The camp is open to players in grades 9-11 and is $30 per player.
